What is hypnosis, exactly?
Hypnosis is a natural, accessible, and altered state of consciousness in which the mind becomes more focused, receptive, and open.
Think of it as a tunnel of attention: you feel both deeply relaxed and fully engaged. In this state, certain areas of the brain activate differently—those linked to imagination, intention, and meaning.
This allows us to access insights that often escape pure logic. Hypnosis bypasses your usual resistance, helps explore what's blocking you, and brings to the surface what is ready to evolve.
It is a gateway to deeper, more lasting change.
Will I lose control during a session?
Hypnosis is not magic, it's science.
It works by creating a burst of brain waves that are the same as when you are in the Rapide Eye Movement phase of sleep (REM), when you have vivid dreams you are in REM. You also get into a hypnosis state everyday without noticing, such as when dreaming, or when you maybe concentrated while watching a movie and suddenly realising you have been "gone" for a while. You remain awake, in control and safe because nothing can happen without your knowledge and consent.
What if I’m “not receptive” to hypnosis?
It’s true — some people are naturally more responsive to hypnosis than others.
But the vast majority can enter a light to moderate hypnotic state — enough to do deep, effective work.
And for those with specific medical or neurological conditions, I offer powerful coaching alternatives… without formal hypnosis.
My approach adapts to your reality. And the results follow.

Is this scientific or just “woo”?
